Traffic Violations

A New York man has been arrested in a separate New England state after allegedly alluding a police officer who attempted to pull him over for an unspecified traffic violation.

Then the officer saw the man fail to follow the established laws of the road, he began the procedure of pulling the man over. He turned on his lights to signal, which the man ignored. The driver then attempted to outrun the state police officer. The 26-year-old New York man continued to lead the officer through a five-mile road chase before finally complying and pulling over at a country style store.

Law enforcement authorities did not provide a statement that detailed if the man had given a specific reason for why he was unable to stop the vehicle that he was operating. He was released with a citation and will appear in court at a later date. The initial reason that the police officer gave for prompting the man to pull over was unspecified.

Drivers make the decision to elude the police for multiple reasons, but one reason is the assumption that they have not broken a law. Citizens are encouraged to comply with police requests and commands and then bring their concerns to a courtroom, rather than flee and create a grander issue. This often requires professional legal representation for criminal defense. For any questions or concerns that are related to traffic violations, speaking to an experienced attorney might be beneficial.
